In her long-term performance MOTHERBOARD, documenta artist Selma Selman smashes electronic waste and at the same time old racist stereotypes that still live in people's minds. What is staged as an art performance reflects a hard everyday business: Selma Selman grew up in a Roma community in Bosnia-Herzegovina; her family lives from collecting and recycling scrap metal.
